The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) cursed the thief, saying: "Allah has cursed the thief who steals an egg and therefore the expected hand" {Bukhari, Muslim}


Also, he has denied the faith at the time when the thief commits theft, saying: "A thief is a believer at the moment to rob." {Bukhari, Muslim}
