A common policy on the control and regulation of cannabis production, use and sale would: (a) ensure equality before the law and non-discrimination of all EU citizens; (b) protect consumers and monitor health security; (c) end cannabis trafficking. Let’s leap toward the legalization of cannabis and the harmonization of national legislations accross the EU.

Why I decided to write it here? The collection of the signatures started many months ago and despite this matter regards a lot of citizens, we collected only a few more than 10%, so I really wish that all the people caring for freedom and equality will join this battle.

It's not a matter of drugs, because recently a well known oncologist from Italy declared that he's in favour of the decriminalization of cannabis, stating it's far less harmful than tobacco smoke and alcohol...
