Sky Deutschland, the German pay TV via satellite , announced that it held its first live broadcast TV and a game of table tennis using the Ultra HD technology.
These tests were carried out on 26 August last year during the for Week 32 of the sport of ping pong facing Bayern Munich against Werder Bremen match.
In a total of 6 tests 4G HD cameras are used . The signal was encrypted in standard HEVC (High Efficiency Video Coding) standard. The broadcast in HD Ultra was carried out using 50 frames per second.
Brian Sullivan , head of Sky Deutschland, has welcomed the result. He indicated that the production of this Ultra HD test was a success .
