Barcelona managed to take victory by Manchester City 'Etihad Stadium' today after 2-0 in a match in which Barca took the expulsion of Martin Demichelis before they entered into the opponent's goal. Messi penalty and Alves were the scorers for the Spaniards.
The first half Barcelona ruled plenty of the ball, but before the two doors not seen many situations. Silva and Negredo looking good for the home team and once the ball was dangerously close to a goal in Barca.
In the 53 th minute after a long attack passes Messi was set up in good position. Demichelis headed to catch Argentine and had to knock it down before it enters the box. He did just that, but Messi fell in the box and a penalty was awarded, though he was kicked out before the line. Demichelis was sent off and the attacker realized from the spot.
Followed strong minutes for Barca, interrupted by short barbs at City. In the 77th minute Silva had almost scored after a good attack City. 81 minutes Pique scored a goal, but it was canceled due to offside. At the end of the meeting after a typical attack of Dani Alves on the right flank he exchanged passes with Neymar, into the penalty box and scored through the legs of Hart.
