Argentine legend spoke of his love for former club after he was spotted in the stands in victory over Napoli Roma in Coppa Italia. Diego Maradona scored 115 times for the Italians in the 80s and helped two titles, the triumph in the Coppa Italia and the UEFA Cup in 1989.
After a 3-0 win over Roma, 53-year-old said,
"I'll be back soon," began the legend that left Naples after cocaine scandal. "I love Italy, I love this country and I feel Neapolitan."
"I was very excited at this stadium in this game. Felt welcoming fans. Napo and supporters want to say this: I'm always here and I'm with you. Wait in the Coppa Italia final, I'll be there."
Maradona remains the top scorer Napoli and he was praised by President Aurelio De Laurentiis, who described him as "Ambassador Bolton worldwide."
