The Foxes boss feels his side threw away the three points after costly individual errors allowed the hosts to close the gap at the top to two points with a 2-1 win

Leicester City manager Claudio Ranieri believes his side would have beaten Arsenal had they not been reduced to 10-men following the dismissal of Danny Simpson.

The Foxes took the lead on the stroke of half time after Jamie Vardy won and converted a penalty, but a second bookable offence for Simpson - fouling Olivier Giroud - changed the game.

Marcin Wasilewski was then punished for conceding a free-kick against Nacho Monreal in stoppage time, as Danny Welbeck converted Mesut Ozil's delivery in his first appearance since April 2015.

And Ranieri feels his side threw away the three points after costly individual errors saw them slip to a 2-1 defeat in a vital fixture in the race for the Premier League title.
